DESCRIPTION

 

 

Day 1                D.F. –  Tepotzotlán - Aculco

Leaving from México City to Tepotzotlán Magical town, declarated National Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Our first stop is at Museo Nacional del Virreinato,  where we find one of most importntant  collection of colonial art, also we will visit Temple of San Francisco Javier, a true architectural jewell. We continue to Aculco, a tipical and beautiful town wich preserve a traditional architecture with streets and houses with wide payground, buildings principally hold by cantera columnsand stone streets, the pacific center is decorated with the Parroquia de San Jerónimo, XVI century, and the Santuario del Señor Nenthé, wich is said to be miracolous. Accomodation.

 

 

Día 2               Aculco - El Oro - Temoaya -  D.F.

Breakfast. We will go to  El Oro, another magical town of the Estado de México.  it is an antique mining town where, walking by its streets take us to a past full of prosperity, still we can see many wood home european style , building by spanish and english people finals XIX century and XX initiation, and several building art noveau style are preserved, like palacio municipal - one of the most beauty of Mexico - Teatro Juárez, building in order to celebratee centenary of independence day. We continue to Temaoaya, its poblation predominates Otomi ethnicity, that is why was made Otomi ceremonial center, in the hill of Cathedral. We continue to a workshop rugs, Temoaya rugs are a jewell of the new traditions of Otomi culture, inhabiting the Toluca Valleys. Continue to Mexico City.  End of our services.
