DESCRIPTION

 

Beautiful town in el Estado de México, know for its warmth people and climate, We begin our journey up the hill "cerro de los ídolos" where we will find the Archeological zone Cuauhtinchán. Its importance derives by its main temple  wich is monolithic compared with Ellora Temple in Southern India, famous Petra City or Abú-Simblel of Egypt.

 

Visit Museo Universitario “Luis Mario Schneider”, where you will know the differents stages of history, culture and customs abd tradition of Malinalco, this consist on seven rooms with temporary and permanent expositions.

 

Visit the Convento Agustino del siglo XVI. This impressive building is located on the first frame of the Municipal header there wi will find the Convento de la Transfiguración and the Divino Salvador Church. An attractive space fot paintings where you will know the history of evangelization; the syncretism of cultures involved in it is embodied in all the paintings of the cloisters.
