DESCRIPTION

 

Day 1                Cd. de México – Teotihuacán –  Tepotozotlán - Aculco

This day we will visit the most important buildings of  Teotihuacán, like the Sun and Moon pyramid, como Quetzalcóatl, among others. After this adventure, we go to  Tepotzotlán; possesor of many of the most impressive samples of baroque architecture of our country, also have been declarated by UNESCO like cultural heritage of humanity, then San Francisco college that actually ward the national viceregal art museum.  Finally we depart to Aculco.  Accommodation

 

 

Day 2               Aculco - Temascalcingo - El Oro

Breakfast. Tour by Aculco,  charming town where we may visit its main square, main church and San Jeronimo Ex Convent. After we will know the process of cheese made, the most typical produce of this small poblation. Later we will go to  Temascalcingo, there we will stop to visit the antique home of the famous mexican landscaper José María Velasco; walk away by the principal square, kiosk and monumental clock. 

 

Continue to Oro de Hidalgo magical town. This poblation its importance to the mining boom that the late XIX century becoming a much more cosmopolitan city than Mexico.  After lunch we will visit Tiro Norte, an imponent red  wood frame wich functioned like acces to miners and actually is a oriel to admire El Oro landscape. Continue to mining museum, a place that show us trough pictures, tools, some machines and a minerals colletction the golden years of this activity. Follow to cratf center where we can find many regional products. then we visit Palacio Municipal, an architectonical england building of this mining town. To finish we will visit the magical Juárez Theather neoclassical style, during its splendor years were presented the famous soprano María Conesa or  tenor  Enrico Caruso. Accommodation.

 

Day 3              El Oro  - Toluca - Metepec - Cd. de México

Breakfast. Departure to Toluca. We will visit the most interesting points in the city, like botanical garden "Cosmovitral", one of the largest sets of stained glasses in the world; the main church of de San José, los portales, Temple of el Carmen, among others. Continue to Metepec. in this magical town we will visit Calvario church with a beauty panoramic view of Tolluca Valley, there we can enjoy the church and San Juan Bautista ex convent, wich are of XVI century; from this place we go to Plaza Juárez where we can appreciate  the esculture of  Tlanchana,  aquatic mythical deity. Later, visit clay museum and here we can see how typical cfatfs are made. Go to Distrito Federal. End of our services.

Sun block and a cap or hat, commfortable shoes.
