DESCRIPTION

 

Day 1                 D.F. –  Malinalco –  Metepec

Leaving from Distrito Federal to Malinalco Magical Town, to visit the important archeological zone of Cuauhtinchán, here the valient eagle and jaguar warriors trained The most important temple is Cuauhcalli, monolithic estructure the only one in the continent. Later we will visit the Ex Convento de la Transfiguración and the church of Divino Salvador founded on 1540 by Agustines friars. After lunch we will go to  Metepec.  Here we will visit el Calvario Church with a beautiful panoramic view of Toluca Valley, just crossing the streeth we can enjoy the church and ex convent of San Juan Bautista dated on XVI century; its face is full of floral painting. From this place we go to Plaza Juárez where we can see the sculpture of Tlanchana an aquatic deity.  Accomodation.

 

 

Day 2                 Metepec- Toluca  – Valle de Bravo

Breakfast. We will visit the capital of Estado de México, Toluca. We will visit the most interesting points of the city, like Botanic garden "Cosmovitral", one of the  largest sets of stained glasses in the world, made by Master Leopoldo Flores; the main church of San José, the temple of el Carmen, amog others. We continue to Valle de Bravo, one of the iconics towns of the Estado de México. We will walk around its streets and visit the San Francisco de Asís main church and the craft market with mazahua, otomi or matlazinca produces, like textile, emrboidery, wood, pottery, clay, even jewels.  Accomodation.

                                                       

Day 3                Valle de Bravo  – El  Oro - Aculco

Breakfast. After we will continue our tour to Carmelita Maranatha temple, building above half a century ago; gardens and yards are elements of romantic inspiration that invite you to meditation. Then, we go to El Oro. This poblation its importance to the minign boom that the late XIX century becoming a much more cosmopolitan city than Mexico. After lunch we will visit Tiro norte, a wood red frame that was used like acces to miners and actually function like oriel to look up the landscape.Continue ti mining museum, a place that show us with pictures, tools, some machines and a minerals collection. Continue to the art center where we will found many regional products.  Untill ending this tour we will visit Palacio Municipal,  a building that show us the good old times of this minign town. To ending, we will visit the magical Juarez Theather of neoclasic style where during its golden years the soprano María Conesa or   Enrico Caruso ternor were presented. Dinner and accommodation.

 

Day 4               Aculco  -  Teotihuacán – D.F.

Breakfast.   Go to Teotihuacán, another site declared world heritage by UNESCO. We will make a bicking tour by the most importants buildings like Sun and Moon pyramids, Quetzalcóatl temple among others. Later, we will visit a craft handmade where we will see some made of obsidian, and magey uses and derivated.  Lunch. Finally we go back to Mexico City. End of our services.
